Wainwrights Take 2 – One Last Trip Around (all) the Fells Nearly a full week of nearly the entire Lake District, revisiting some of my favorite places with some of my favorite people snacking on some of my favorite foods. 2022 Barkley Marathons – The Fun Fun Run Although this year’s Fun Run outcome was disappointing, the experience was a success: relaxed and legitimately fun, but still with the motivation to finish. The Butcombe Trail Pub Crawl – My UK Ultrarunning Magnum Opus There will be mud, pubs, and great company. I can think of no better way of combining the best parts of my time here in the UK. 2021 Tor Des Geants – Pizza, Gelato, and Rhabdo Tor Des Geants didn’t go very well for me, but sometimes the failures are the most important outcomes to share. Wainwrights DNF – Warm, Wet, & Steep With a Side of Bracken Sometimes falling short is out of our control. Sometimes it’s from lack of experience. But this time, I should have known better.
