Race Reports AT 4 State Challenge FKT An FKT attempt allows me to enjoy competing and some distraction-free miles on the trails at the same time. I was able to come away with a new FKT of 6:39, which was the cherry on top of a great day on beautiful trails with good company. 2018 Bandera 100K Always take away the positives, but look for the things to improve too. If everything always went perfectly, we wouldn’t get to keep learning. 2017 Lookout Mountain 50 Miler Sometimes it’s best to stop worrying about details and just run! Cumulative training and experience are vastly more important than the 24 hours before a race. 2017 Long Course National Championship – MiamiMan I took a trip to Miami, reconnected with old friends, and came back a national champion! The race seemed to be a series of mishaps, but in the end things mostly came together. 2017 Kona Ironman World Championship Being 60th in the world is a result I’m proud of and without a doubt happy about, but happiness and satisfaction are not necessarily the same thing. 2017 Ironman 70.3 World Championship – Chattanooga Great course in an awesome city surrounded by teammates, friends, and family.
